State, Centre plans will boost farmers' income by up to 15%

The Telangana government was the first one to roll out a cash transfer scheme for landed farmers. The state’s Rythu Bandhu scheme, launched in May 2018, offers farmers Rs 8,000 per year for every acre of land owned.
